It would be fantastic if you could extend the application's compatibility to include Bluetooth-connected Zebra scanners that are paired with other Android devices. Identify Commit-Blocking Portal Errors Earlier in Designer/Runtime
Currently, some Portal errors are only displayed when attempting to commit changes and are not identified during runtime or while working in the Designer.
It would be helpful to display these commit-blocking errors earlier, preferably within the Designer or at runtime, so they can be identified and resolved during development. This would also allow developers to account for potential conflicts or collisions while building new functionality rather than discovering them at commit.

Silent authentication for initial REST connector token acquisition
Why?
When a user starts the Novacura client without a previous Novacura session, they authenticate with Entra ID before opening an application.When the application is started for the first time and a REST Connector needs to acquire a token, the token request is currently performed as an interactive sign-in. This is visible as an interactive authentication request in the Entra ID sign-in logs.
At this point, the user already has a valid Entra ID session. Requiring another interactive authentication request is therefore unnecessary and prevents the initial REST call from providing a seamless single sign-on experience.

Auto Retry Errors in Offline Queue Lanes
In our workflow, we have an app where we use offline Queue lanes. What happens is when the driver gets connected to internet, it begins to transfer data to the ERP, but they are often driving. So at some point during the transfer, they lose internet connectivity in remote locations. They are presented this error on the client "Software caused connection abort". The drivers resolve this by just hitting retry to continue the process.
We would like to request that these steps are automatically retried once connectivity is established. This would keep the users from having to retry many steps…

Increase Text Box Height When Making Edits in Mobile Client
Currently, it's difficult to make edits within a notes text box on mobile apps due to the heigh restriction of the box.
When reading the notes entered before going in to edit, a user can read multiple lines of text entered and can navigate what was entered easily. Once you begin to enter text, the view switches from a multi-line text box to a single line text box. It requires end users to scroll left to right to read text and determine their position inside of text box, making it difficult to write up large entries here.

Add an “Archive” Option for Deleted Applications in Flow Connect
I would like to have an archive option in flow hub as Currently, when an application is deleted in Novacura Flow Connect, it is permanently removed without an intermediate archive state. This limits the ability to recover deleted applications within a safe retention period and increases the risk of accidental data loss.
I propose adding an Archive option for deleted applications in Flow Connect. With this feature Deleted applications would first move to an Archived state instead of being permanently deleted immediately.

Support for deciding which clients (portal vs. clients) an end-user can log in to
Having a way to stop users or groups of users from being in the web client could be nice. The problem we are having is when users are completing registration they are getting driven to apps, but right now we are onboarding a lot of "portal only" users. So they get confused. We are sending a welcome email to link them to the board, but sometimes people don't read the email. When everything is said and done we have people who are web client only, portal only, and some who need both.

Format Markdown responses
With the rise of AI being embedded in many client facing applications, the tools being used i.e. ChatGPT, Ollama, etc all return markdown syntax. While this is readable for those who are familiar with the syntax, many users won't understand it. It would be nice to be able to automatically convert Markdown to something more granular (like json) to be used or HTML for sending email responses. Could you implement a Markdown to X function in Connect?

Meta data from photos taken from mobile and tablets
When taking a picture with the phone there is some meta data attached to it (when and where etc.). Accessing that data with flow will make the geo position more accurate.
Today we use the gps coordinate feature in Flow, but as the technicians can take the pictures to then upload much later, the geo coordinates are wrong (i.e. from the location when uploaded, not where taken).2 votes -

We use a third party app for maps, in that app I can in classic run a deep link which will start up flow connect app on the phone with given parameters. Same feature as existed in Classic
