  1. Portal 2's current interface and interaction design do not cater effectively to tablet and mobile devices, presenting challenges for users on these platforms due to the lack of touch-friendly navigation and responsiveness.

The enhancement focuses on redesigning Portal 2 to be fully optimized for tablet and mobile devices. This entails revising the user interface to ensure that all elements are easily navigable via touch interactions. Key considerations include increasing button sizes, ensuring that dropdown menus and other interactive elements are easily selectable, and implementing responsive design principles so that the layout adjusts dynamically to fit various screen sizes and orientations.…

  2. HTML to PDF connector is a frequently used connector for designing and generating PDF reports in Flow Classic. Additionally, it's also possible to merge existing pdfs with this connector.
As mentioned in this idea https://ideas.novacura.com/forums/956630-novacura-flow-connect/suggestions/48235034-add-proper-report-print-layout-configuration-to-fl
The design capabilities of the existing connector are somewhat limited/rigid. Ideally, it should be far easier/flexible to design a report layout in connect. Here are some options we can consider for HTML to PDF connector in Flow Connect.

    Option 1

Can be divided in to two sub sections.
    a. Report design as its own step in the designer – The idea of this is to…

  3. Currently, the inability to run offline flows in debug mode in Studio complicates development and testing, significantly increasing development time. Resolving this issue soon will streamline the process and improve efficiency

  4. Within a User Element in a User Step, I would like to be able to change the font, front size, font color, alignment, bold, italics, and more so that I can make more visually appealing workflows.

  5. Flow Classic has a way to send push notifications via swimlanes. I have never been a fan of using swimlanes, but you could at least use them to send push notifications.

In Flow Connect, I'd like to see Novacura implement a "connector" that could perform the same functionality. The connector could: iterate through a list of users, require a Push Notification message, optionally pass in an app GUID that would "forward" the user once they click on push notification to.

Bonus points if you could use a websocket backend so this could also be implemented in the webclients as well…

  6. Today, a customer can download offline data. But if the app crashes, or the user in the field (who is offline) makes changes and then app crashes or they quit out by accident, its confusing to the user as to what has been completed. To the user, it feels like the data has been lost.

An example, lets say I have an offline flow which downloads 10 records in a table. While offline, I add 2 new records to that table, and go to the next step. If the app crashes when the app reopens, and the flow is rerun,…

  7. There is a need for proper Report Print Layout configuration. Must allow dynamic sizing of all cells in a table/layout, logo, formatting, conditions etc. Today's HTML is far to rigid. For some use cases the layout is so poor that we can't even use it internally, not to mention externally.

Main need is for PDF, e.g. Word would have been nice, but less important

Ideally there should be an engine on the backside, allowing to be automatically sent on E-mail or printed to predefined print.

For IFS users, similar IFS Report Designer and Print Agent. The built in IFS tools…

  8. The suggested improvements to the current system involve enhancing the user experience and customization options in the graphical user interface (GUI). The proposal includes two main features:

    1. Customizable Button Placement: The users express a strong interest in having the freedom to choose where the buttons (outputs) from user steps appear in the GUI. Currently, the system only allows the selection of priority, but the buttons always appear in the bottom right corner of the user step. The proposal seeks to provide flexibility, allowing users to position the buttons according to their preference, resulting in a more intuitive and user-friendly interface.

  9. Requesting the addition of customizable spacing options between KPI cards in Portal 2. Currently, a gray KPI card is being utilized as a workaround for creating space between blue and green KPI cards. However, there is an inability to disable the border of this empty card. We propose the implementation of features that allow users to control spacing between KPI cards and provide the option to toggle borders on or off for improved layout flexibility.

  10. A process involves calling a flow fragment with a pinned user step. After completing the fragment, returning to the main flow retains the now irrelevant pinned step, potentially causing confusion. Pinned steps should close along with their parent flow to avoid this issue.

  12. Is there any way that when adding records for an employee, the name stays highlighted. After each record I enter, I have to re-click on the name to enter more or even see anything pertaining to the employee.

the user wants the name to be able to remain highlighted while they are doing processes for named user until the processes are completed instead of having to click on the user name each time to create additional processes for them.

  13. New version of parameters for Components in counteractive and in opposition to Lowcode philosophy behind Novacura products. Frankly it looks unfinished, which I hope it is. Moreover in old version you were able to open used Component, which would be even more important now, when they are all dumped in one place and not divided into folders or even show which flows they are assigned to.

  14. Typed variables in Flow is a good thing, but most often it creates a lot of extra work to make it work.
As many of the ideas here suggests, while FlowScript provides a lot of possibilities, it has in its current form made Connect come a bit too far from being Low-Code.

To simplify the handling of types it would be of great help to be able to easily make sure that the output variables always are of the wanted and expected type.

    For example:
    - In a IFS DB Machine Step be able to easily ("low-codish") define types for…

  16. Currently, Flow Script does not offer any assistance in code formatting, which could lead to less readable and harder to manage scripts.

We suggest the introduction of a "Code Formatter" button in Flow Script. This button would apply some basic formatting rules, such as indentation, to make scripts more readable and easier to maintain. Even though users may request further customization options, having basic formatting support will be a significant improvement over the current situation.

  18. Please enable the posibility to listen to the Record Portlet. We offer the possiblity to change data via Workflow, but any saved changes will never trigger an update of other portal objects. This needs to be done manually. I have encountered this in at least 4 projects now where this feature would have been needed.

  19. A feature enhancement that allows users to update the values of flow variables from outside of a script. Currently, when working with variables X and Y, executing a script step only allows for returning a value to overwrite one of them, or utilizing a complex workaround with a record to update both variables. We propose the addition of a simple syntax, such as ":flow.X = "something";" within the script, where the ":flow" prefix defines the scope of the variable being modified. This improvement will streamline the process of updating variables, eliminating the need for additional steps and making script operations…

  20. Currently, the Scheduler lacks the ability to create a custom timeline, making it difficult for users to plan orders starting in one week/month and ending in the next week/month. This lack of functionality can lead to a lot of clicking and scrolling and difficulty in visualizing the total order.

We propose adding a feature that allows users to define a custom timeline in the Scheduler. For example, this could be a timeline starting from 'today + 1 week' or other similar custom periods.

This will allow users to have a more efficient and streamlined planning process, minimizing the need for…
