AI Step
Solution: Introduce an AI Step in the Designer that allows users to seamlessly integrate pre-defined AI tasks into their workflows. These tasks will enhance workflows with cognitive capabilities such as text analysis, image recognition, and predictive modeling.
What It Does:
Users can drag and drop an "AI Step" into a workflow.
From a dropdown menu, they select from a set of AI tasks to execute within the workflow.
Incremental Rollout: The library of AI tasks will grow incrementally, with new tasks added based on user demand and technological advancements, ensuring continuous improvement of capabilities.
Examples of AI Tasks:

The possibility to handle errors in some connectors
In some connectors for example FileSystem we need the ability to handle errors and sometimes ignore them.

Calendar weeks with uniform week start day
We would wish that all calendars start with the same week day. For example in the filter portlet the weeks start on a sunday and in the gantt portlet on a monday. This uniform approach would ensure that everyone is on the same page regarding the start of the week.

Enhancing the Visibility of Offline Flows in a Menu
In the current webclient, an offline flow that has been added to a menu is visible in the webclient even if it cannot be run from there.
Could we either make a change so that offline flows are not visible in the webclient, or make the error message that occurs when someone tries to run it more understandable?

Include the 'Does Not Contain' Operator in Portal 2 Filter Option
The filtering process will remove all records that contain the specified value or pattern, leaving a refined dataset that only contains the relevant data.

Add function selection to filter settings in Portal2
We would like to enhance user experience by introducing a new feature: 'Function Selection' in the Portal2 filter settings, allowing users to customize and tailor their preferences more effectively. We need to be able to select the function we want to use with-in the filters settings (see file attached). Specifically the "Contains" function. Although we should be able to use the filter functions as a whole.

iOS GPS Coordinates User Element Enhancement
Capture GPS coordinates by button press that would then populate a text field. Currently, the GPS Coordinates element takes up too much real estate for what is needed.

AI-generated documentation for Novacura Flow apps
Why?
Users who create apps in Novacura Flow need an easier way to document what an app does, how it is structured, and how it should be maintained. Manual documentation is time-consuming, often skipped, and can quickly become outdated. What?
Add a built-in AI function in Novacura Flow that can generate documentation for an app created in the product. The function should analyze the app structure, including flows, steps, data sources, variables, integrations, business logic, screens, and user interactions where available. Based on this, it should generate clear app documentation that can be reviewed, edited, and saved by the user.

Compressing images
When compressing images it would be nice to be able to say what size you want the image to be uploaded in, not what percentage it should be compressed to. For example, if you take a picture with an iPhone the image will be 18MB while if you take the same picture with an iPad it will be 4MB, then it would be nice to be able to say that we want images that are 5MB and the Flow client will then compress the images that are larger than that to the desired size, while the images that are smaller…

My Work - reduce cliks on errors
The process of “skipping items” that contain errors in My Work is now 3 clicks, with no way around it.
This used to be one click per “delete.” Ideally there are not a ton of errors, but if there are, it now means 3x the amount of clicking for the user (potentially on a small mobile device).

The Network connection was lost error proper way of handling
Now when you run some app on mobile device and you toggle off screen/switch app/small lack of internet, you will get The Network connection was lost message. It will take you back to previous step without proper indication and some of the machine steps will be already done. Would be good to have:
-more explanation on help web page about such error messages
-some kind of batch processing posibilites to handle such activity4 votes -

Allow Date Inputs to Interact Within Same User Step
Component: Workflow → User Step → Date Input
Customer Feedback:
We often use date ranges (from–to). Both default to today, but if the 'From' date is set far ahead, the 'To' date should adjust automatically. Users find it frustrating to manually scroll through the calendar to correct the 'To' date.Current Limitation:
You cannot reference or update the value of one input field based on another within the same User Step. Referencing works across steps, but not within the same step.Request:
As a user, I want a date input to be able to update another date input within the…4 votesThank you for voting on this feature request. Our product team is currently reviewing it and evaluating its feasibility and potential impact. We will keep you updated on any progress.

Container in Container
Customers have consistently asked for more flexibility when designing their portals. While Connect has already expanded the design area from 12 to 24 columns, there’s still a need for more advanced layout options to meet growing demands.
For example, many partners have requested the ability to place multiple portlets (such as a filter and a table) within a single tab using a stacked container. This and similar use cases highlight the need for a more adaptable and intuitive layout system.
What’s Coming:
We’re introducing new features that will give users more control over portal layouts, including:Expanded Design Options: Greater…

Swimlanes
Swimlanes in Flow Connect, much like Classic, would support multiple roles and push notifications to role. Currently, Swimlanes on Connect are converted to Seeded Inboxes.
Swimlane functionality on Classic can be found here:

Option for Daylight Saving Adjustments in Addition to Static UTC for Scheduled Workflows
As a user, I would like the option for scheduled workflows to adjust for daylight saving changes, as the system currently only supports a static UTC setting. Adding this flexibility would accommodate different timing needs, allowing for both local time adjustments and consistent UTC scheduling.

GitHub Integration for Flow Studio
Currently, Flow Studio allows developers to view the XML code of their workflows by pressing F7, but there is no direct way to integrate these files with GitHub for version control and code storage, only server side in the Flow Server.
Proposed solution is to implement a direct integration feature between Flow Studio and GitHub, as an alternative to Flow version management. This feature would enable users to seamlessly push the XML files of their workflows directly to a GitHub repository from within Flow Studio.

Support for Continuous Two-Way Bluetooth Low Energy (BL-LE) Communication with Data Aggregation
We are working with an external Bluetooth device that transmits image data in chunks, which need to be reassembled upon receiving an end-of-data marker. Our current integration with Python successfully handles this process, but the Novacura platform seems to capture only a single notification. We require functionality to write to a characteristic ID, receive continuous notifications, and aggregate multiple binary data packets into a single file (e.g., JPEG) until an 'OK' marker is received. This feature would significantly enhance value for our customers by enabling seamless two-way BL-LE communication in Nova, with the ability to trigger this process multiple times.

Create Component from part of an App
Typically when developing an App or a set of Apps, you don't exactly know how the Apps will end up and it is difficult to have a clear component strategy from the start.
It would therefore be super helpful to be able to take a part of an app, a sequence of workflow elements, and turn that into a component when needed. Directly from the Designer.
Preferably the function should be smart enough to suggest required input to the component.
When created, the selected sequence of workflow elements should be replaced automatically by the newly created component.
