1. Have a way to disable manual/keyboard entry for specific input boxes

   We have Novacura deployed on numerous handheld scanner devices running the Android client. Being able to lock out manual keyboard entry to certain input fields and require the input to come from the scanner would significantly improve the workflow for our users, and reduce the possibility of errors from manual entry as opposed to scanning the barcode directly.

3. Include "In" operator in Portal 2 Filter.

   In portal2 we have the option to use filter with different type of operator’s, and we would like to be able to use the operator “IN” to allow multiselect in the filter like for example

   Work order

   90,91

   Select both work order 90 and the 91 and filter accordingly

4. Starting behaviour for grouped list selection

   Currently, when we initiate a list selection we can start it closed or fully extended.
   Ideally, we should be able to just show the categories and extend them. Currently they are always fully extended.

   If we have a large list of over 20 items, the grouping could help with navigating easier. Like this, we need to close them first to see them as an overview. There are pictures attached to illustrate this.

5. Support E-Signature Capabilities in Flow

   Novacura Flow should be able to handle electronic (digital) signatures. This should support multiple signatures and allow a user to decide where each signature should be on the document. As a requirement, the customer would have to be able to upload a personal certificate that is uploaded to a keystore and should support .pdf formats.

6. Data Grid Date

   Possibility to use date selector in Data grid element.
   Today only text, number, Lovs, checkboxes is valid for use. But many customers also ask for the possibility to use a Calendar for date fields to be possible to use.

7. Pop up notifications support for seeded inbox

   When using seeded inboxes in App's we will have to go into the menue to see howmany requests are available. Ex: Approval APP, howmany records are there for user to approval.
   However it would be great to have a feature that gives notifications if they have any pending for requests shown externally (without having to click on the menu). Ex: like a pop up notifications etc.

8. Improve Windows Tablet Compatibility for Web Forms web client – Bluetooth Integration, Photo Attachment, and UI Navigation

   Recent user feedback from field training highlighted critical challenges when using the Novacura Web Forms web client on Windows tablets due to the absence of a dedicated Windows application. These challenges include a lack of Bluetooth integration, a non-streamlined photo attachment process, and navigation difficulties within the UI. Current issues prevent full functionality for mobile users on Windows tablets, prompting us to recommend using only Android or Apple tablets until a solution is in place.
   Details:
   1. Bluetooth Integration:
   o Issue: The current Windows Web Forms web client does not support Bluetooth integration, a critical feature for seamless field operations on mobile devices.
   o Impact: Bluetooth functionality is central to several workflows, and without it, a significant portion of the app's functionality is unavailable, limiting the usability of Windows tablets.
   2. Photo Attachment Process:
   o Issue: Users must capture photos externally, save them, locate them in the file system, and manually attach them in the platform.
   o Impact: This multistep process hinders efficiency, especially in field conditions where speed and ease of use are essential.
   3. UI Navigation with Touch:
   o Issue: Navigating the Web Forms web client on Windows tablets without a mouse is challenging, particularly for scrolling within grids and selecting elements in confined spaces.
   o Impact: This creates a double-scroll issue (page scroll vs. grid scroll) that hampers usability with touch controls, especially when using gloves, a common requirement for field users.
   Suggested Solutions:
   • Bluetooth Integration: Develop or enable Bluetooth functionality within the Web Forms web client.
   • Photo Attachment: Streamline photo attachment, perhaps by enabling direct access to the camera for image capture within the app.
   • UI Optimization for Touch: Optimize the UI for touch interaction to reduce double-scroll issues, improve selection accuracy, and enhance usability without a mouse.

9. New FlowScript function for BI apps and other data driven apps

   For data driven apps or any BI apps it would be great to have an easy way to create a complex result set of data.
   With this function available we could create amazingly flexible and "Qlik-like" apps in no time.

   Let's consider one scenario.
   We want to display sales per period, per a few selected sales reps and products.
   As dimensions we have Period (Quarter/Month), Salesman, Product.

   For the actual sales we have one big fact table with all all sales, including the dimensions above.

   In an app we want to select a group of salesmen and a few product, and then display, sales per quarter.

   For this we need two operations (possibly in one FlowScript function):
   1. Combine
   2. Populate

   Combine: Create one table with all combined dimensions (like an outer join without a on/where clause)

   Populate: Map one (or more) columns from the fact table and put the aggregated result in the corresponding cell in the combined dimension table. Have a default expression for the cells without any value. This table would the be the output from the function.

   The output could then be used to display & update data in a effective and comprehensive way.
   Of course this can be done using existing FlowScript functions, but the suggested function would save a lot of time and have the potential to create a lot more flexible solutions.

   For data driven apps or any BI apps it would be great to have an easy way to create a complex result set of data.
   With this function available we could create amazingly flexible and "Qlik-like" apps in no time.

11. More effortless usage of types with typed output everywhere

    Typed variables in Flow is a good thing, but most often it creates a lot of extra work to make it work.
    As many of the ideas here suggests, while FlowScript provides a lot of possibilities, it has in its current form made Connect come a bit too far from being Low-Code.

    To simplify the handling of types it would be of great help to be able to easily make sure that the output variables always are of the wanted and expected type.

    For example:
    - In a IFS DB Machine Step be able to easily ("low-codish") define types for the output data, both for a query and for a script.
    - In a data grid, be able to have numeric and date columns that is easy to format to the desired format and that always output the same type as the inputted type.

    Typed variables in Flow is a good thing, but most often it creates a lot of extra work to make it work.

13. Enhanced Targeted Messaging Capabilities in Flow Server

    Requesting an expansion of the Flow Server messaging functionality to support targeted communication beyond global message sends to Portal. While acknowledging the utility of global targeting, there's a strong need for more precise messaging options such as targeting specific Flow user IDs, user roles, and user workflows. This enhancement would significantly empower communication in multi-user setups, providing greater flexibility and efficiency in message delivery within the Flow environment.

14. Enable listener for Record Portlet

    Please enable the posibility to listen to the Record Portlet. We offer the possiblity to change data via Workflow, but any saved changes will never trigger an update of other portal objects. This needs to be done manually. I have encountered this in at least 4 projects now where this feature would have been needed.

16. SOAP Service OAuth2 Password Credential Type in Design Time

    Currently, the SOAP Webservice connector supports OAuth 2 Password Credentials Type in Design Time. However, there are instances where you need to authorize to an HTTP GET endpoint to get the WSDL definition. The workaround for this issue is to currebntly put the WSDL file on the server so authentication is not required to generate the connector. But it would be ideal to apply the current OAuth2 Password Credential Authorization to the WSDL retrieval GET operation.

17. Update dependency for fragment: Add Fragment comment to updated versions

    When changing a fragment and updating dependencies it can be VERY confusing to follow the changes in Flows that have been changed.
    In complex flows using a lot of fragments, some flow specific and some used in a lot of flows, when i do changes and want to update PROD i can frequently see that between my changes and the last shared version to PROD other changes have been made, but i cannot see a comment other than "Auto updated version dependencies". If there is a comment in the changed fragment, please use that comment in all dependencies as well, preferably with a mention of the fragment that has been updated. If there is no comment please mention form which dependency the update has been triggered in the comment (e.g. Auto update from "Get user Info" dependency).

20. Encrypt System Variables

    In order to use secure values in system variables, it would be good to encrypt the values from other admin's visibility.

    Currently, in our integration to Expensify the ID and Secret are handled in the body of the payload. In order to ease maintenance of these values, you could use System Values. However, it would mean that the secret would be visible to all with Admin privileges. See example Expensify API request below:
