  3. The starting day of the week in a datepicker in Portal 2 should be influenced by the locale settings. For instance, if en-US, the week start should be Sunday. If sv-SE local is set on the Flow User, then Monday should be the start date.

  4. Current login screen only shows "Flow 6" (not even Novacura is mentioned).

    We are gearing up adding external partners to the portal. It both creates suspicion and looks amateurish without our company name, and preferable logo, in the login screen. Enabling us to brand the layout with name, logo and maybe even colour would have made a big impact on the first impression.

To ensure a seamless transition to Portal Connect, we are bringing this functionality forward—along with some exciting enhancements.

  6. Currently, the Scheduler lacks the ability to create a custom timeline, making it difficult for users to plan orders starting in one week/month and ending in the next week/month. This lack of functionality can lead to a lot of clicking and scrolling and difficulty in visualizing the total order.

    We propose adding a feature that allows users to define a custom timeline in the Scheduler. For example, this could be a timeline starting from 'today + 1 week' or other similar custom periods.

  7. Our goal is to enhance the filterportlet by adding text input fields that offer auto-suggestions in the form of a drop-down list, displaying previous entries. This feature is already available in portal1. Users will experience a more user-friendly and efficient filtering process, as they can conveniently select from past entries suggested by the drop-down list.

  11. Customers have consistently asked for more flexibility when designing their portals. While Connect has already expanded the design area from 12 to 24 columns, there’s still a need for more advanced layout options to meet growing demands.

    For example, many partners have requested the ability to place multiple portlets (such as a filter and a table) within a single tab using a stacked container. This and similar use cases highlight the need for a more adaptable and intuitive layout system.

  12. In Portal 2, there is currently no capability for custom buttons to directly listen to the same filters that a portlet uses. This limitation reduces flexibility and can lead to less intuitive user interactions, as demonstrated by the need for users to manually select an item in a scheduler portlet to trigger related custom button actions.

  13. In the current versions of Portal it is quite difficult/impossible to display multiple pins on the exact same location. We have another Map-solution which handles this quite well, and I would propose something similar be added to the map for Flow Connect. See attached screenshots.

  14. In the current Portal 2, drag&drop option, resizing or moving of tasks get synchronized and data set is loaded again.

    It would be great, if we have options here. Eg. the changes are not synchronized and only shown right away.
    Datasets can be big and load for 1 - 5 seconds, if a lot of resizing happens, this is noticeable to the enduser. I could see more than one solution:
    - add option to synchronize changes instantly (todays functionality)
    - add option to trigger all changes
    - synchronize the changes in the background (similar to offline functionality). This would only…

When selecting a row or row(s) in a portlet table and then starting a workflow, the row selected is no longer showing as (gray) selected, making it hard to find what row was just worked with and pulled into the workflow. This may not always pertain to selected rows because some are actually deleted or removed from a portlet table.

    However, a good addition would be to allow for tables in Portal 2 to deselect/not deselect the row and to allow the table to automatically update/not update the table after completing or closing a workflow. These are possibly some things…

  16. Is there any way that when adding records for an employee, the name stays highlighted. After each record I enter, I have to re-click on the name to enter more or even see anything pertaining to the employee.

    the user wants the name to be able to remain highlighted while they are doing processes for named user until the processes are completed instead of having to click on the user name each time to create additional processes for them.

  17. When a filter field is setup with the "List Of Values" for the "Edit as" type, it would be very helpful to be able to select the "Contains" operator. Currently the "Equals" operator is the only available selection for list of values fields.

  19. Currently, users must manually select dates in both the filter portlet and the Gantt date picker when they wish to restrict the data source to specific dates. This process is tedious and requires the portlet to load twice.

    We propose a feature that allows synchronization between date pickers in the filter portlet and the Gantt. There should be a setting in the listening portlet that enables users to link its date pickers to one or two date pickers in the filter portlet.   20. Currently, the visual emphasis when an object is selected in the Scheduler is quite subtle. This could potentially cause users to struggle in identifying their selected object, especially in a dense schedule.

    We suggest enhancing the object highlighting functionality in the Scheduler. This could involve introducing a more pronounced visual cue, like a more prominent shadow or highlight. It would be beneficial to make the intensity of this visual cue customizable. Additionally, users should be allowed to choose the color of the highlight, providing another layer of customization and personalization.
