Default Landing Page when the user logged in - Portal
Current Behavior
On first-time login, the contractor portal is expected to default to the Dashboard (as per system design). However, users have observed that it sometimes lands on the Technician tab instead.
For subsequent logins, the portal loads the last visited tab, as this preference is stored in the browser cache.
Technical Clarification
The system currently:Defaults to the first available page (Dashboard) only when no cached session data exists (e.g., incognito mode or cleared cache).
Stores the user’s last visited page in browser cache, which determines the landing page on future logins.
This behavior cannot currently be overridden without:

Allow to run Components with user steps in the portal
Since there is no function in the portal today to determine whether user steps are present in components, all components start silently. And at runtime, if the component has a user step, an error saying: "Invalid usage of user step within component" is displayed.
Such a function would allow components with and without user steps, increasing the usability

Navigation in a page tree
When using empty pages as navigation parents in the portal, users report confusion when clicking them, since they only see a blank page.
Options to perhaps set a default child page if the parent is empty, or Git Book style, clearly show the child pages on that empty parent page

kanban - LOV value for the Group by
Today, the group by in the Kanban is just a simple value. So to make it look good in the Kanban, I would use, for example, the first name.
But when building interaction flows for drag-and-drop, I need to insert the ID of the resource I group by.
Giving the option to use a List of Values for the Group by field would enable both displaying a friendly name, but also using the ID for interactions

In the visual planning in the old portal we are able to see more text in the cards. Is it possible to fix the same feature in Connect?

Set portlet to be editable based on variable
The ability to set a portlet (record, table) to be editable based on the value of a variable, be it a variable from the data component or another portlet, would be really helpful in cases where a portlet shouldn't be editable depending on the data.
For example, selecting the rows that are not highlighted in green in the top portlet should set the record portlet below to editable while selecting the green rows should set it as non-editable.

Be able to decide if Group by should be open or closed at reload
You should be able to decide if "Group by" in table view should be open or closed at reload or as default to get a more slim view.
Now to get a slim view you need to close all posts manually every time you reload.

Enhanced Targeted Messaging Capabilities in Flow Server
Requesting an expansion of the Flow Server messaging functionality to support targeted communication beyond global message sends to Portal. While acknowledging the utility of global targeting, there's a strong need for more precise messaging options such as targeting specific Flow user IDs, user roles, and user workflows. This enhancement would significantly empower communication in multi-user setups, providing greater flexibility and efficiency in message delivery within the Flow environment.

Enable listener for Record Portlet
Please enable the posibility to listen to the Record Portlet. We offer the possiblity to change data via Workflow, but any saved changes will never trigger an update of other portal objects. This needs to be done manually. I have encountered this in at least 4 projects now where this feature would have been needed.

Container in portal2
When we merge 2 portlets into a container there is no provision to have a button for containerized portlets.
There are requirements where in you need to have 2 datasources for 2 portlets but need to have a button wokflow which can be used for both or any of the portlets.1 vote -
Auto-Centering of Portal 2 Scheduler Based on Current Time
In the Portal 2 environment, users must manually adjust the scheduler's view daily to align it with the current time. This manual process becomes inefficient for users, especially in environments where the scheduler is in a read-only state across all departments.
Proposed solution is to implement an auto-centering feature for the Portal 2 scheduler that automatically aligns the view with the current time upon refresh. This ensures that users always have a centered view of their schedule relative to the present time without manual adjustments, enhancing user experience and operational efficiency.

Enable scrolling of the page and portlet windows when 'Draggable' is enabled on Table Portlet
The users request an improvement in the table portlet's behavior when grabbing a row in 'draggable' mode. Specifically, they desire the page window to scroll up, down, left, or right automatically when they hold the row near the border. Additionally, they expect the same behavior to be applicable within other portlets. For example, when dragging a row from a table Portlet into a Scheduler Portlet, the current page stays stagnant. This means that if the Scheduler Portlet is not on the exact date and time to drop the table row into, the user needs to start over, ensuring that they…
