  2. In the current NG webclient, search queries are not maintained after completing a flow. Users have to re-enter their search each time they finish a flow, which can disrupt their workflow and reduce efficiency.

To enhance user experience and productivity, we propose to preserve the search queries even after completing a flow. This means that after a user finishes a flow, their previous search query would still be in place, saving them the effort of having to re-enter it.

  3. Currently in WebNG, the workflow interface occupies the entire screen, hiding the left sidebar which houses important menus and settings. This design requires users to exit their workflows to access these menus, which can disrupt their workflow and reduce efficiency.

To enhance user experience and productivity, we propose a design change to allow the left sidebar to remain visible and accessible even while within a workflow. This change would allow users to quickly access menus and settings without needing to exit their workflows.

  4. Currently, a search box appears automatically in a data grid, which may not be desirable in certain configurations. For example, when using a two-column data grid with interdependent list boxes, the presence of a search box can disrupt the intended user interaction.

We propose to add an option to suppress the automatic appearance of the search box in data grids. This would give developers more control over the user interface and allow for a cleaner look in specific scenarios.

  5. In ERP systems, item descriptions that are 90 characters long are common. These descriptions are crucial for end-users, especially when picking unpacked items. However, due to the current Data Grid's single-line layout, users often need to scroll both vertically and horizontally to view all the necessary information, which is not efficient.

While questions regarding how to determine what should be displayed and how to show column headers in the second row need to be addressed, the dual line option could start as an optional element. The benefits of this improved data presentation format would likely extend to other customers with…

  6. Currently in Flow Studio, users are unable to bypass "interactive" elements, such as checkboxes, with a barcode scanner or the "Enter" button. This limitation disrupts the scanning process, adding unnecessary steps for the user.

In the meantime, users have to create a workaround by placing the checkbox in a user step before or after the barcode scanning step. However, this is not an optimal solution as it requires additional user steps and makes the workflow less efficient.

Proposed Solution: We request the development of a feature that allows the barcode scanner to bypass interactive elements in the flow. This will…

  7. Customers using our mobile client have reported inconsistent performance when scanning barcodes using the List multi-selection input component. Specifically, it appears that the barcode recognition feature is not always operational. Additionally, the List multi-selection input component in Flow Studio lacks barcode configuration options. There's no way to change the default "Match By: Rows" setting to "Match By: Specific Columns". This restriction limits the flexibility and usability of this component for developers.

Proposed Solution: We propose to add the barcode configuration to the List multi-selection input component in Flow Studio. This should include the option to change the "Match By" settings…

  8. In the new web client, the current flow name search allows filtering by typing a partial name. However, we would greatly appreciate additional search options such as "wildcards," "starts with," "ends with," and "contains." These enhancements would enable more refined searches, specifically allowing users to locate flows that begin with a certain pattern, end with a specific string, or contain a particular sequence. Implementing these features would significantly improve the flow discovery process, increase user productivity, and enhance the overall user experience in the web client.

  9. As a Flow Developer, I should be able to disable focus on any element in a User Step.

Currently, focus is set on User Step Elements sequentially. For example, if you have a Text Input and a Datagrid, once the text input is entered through scanning focus will be set on the Datagrid. In this same example, if focus was disabled on the Datagrid, the user could scan data into the text input and move forward with a default button control. This would allow a user enter text into a text input, and show the growing list in a data…

  10. Currently, while a page/action is rendering, the background content is blurred differently depending on the platform. As shown in the attached examples, the iOS client applies a noticeably stronger blur effect, while the Android client leaves considerably more of the underlying UI visible.

The requested improvement is to align the Android and iOS implementations so that the same level of background blur is applied during this rendering/loading state. Ideally, the more blurred version (iOS) is the standard.

  11. In order to protect our data from users who bring their own devices (contractors) and access our data, we would like Novacura Flow can be Intune SDK-enabled or support MAM/DLP integration.

  12. As a customer, we use Novacura to provide access to data from IFS for contractors. We want to ensure that our data is kept secure from users. As such, within the Novacura Connect app, we would like add screenshot blocking; built in data loss prevention controls (such as sharing restrictions, copy/paste restrictions, saving restricts, etc.), watermarking, and more to secure from inside the app which would help with external users.

  13. We see more and more requirements from customers wanting to run Novacura Flow Connect in kiosk mode, where several users would use the same computer to basically run the same apps (e.g. for Inventory Operations or Shop Floor reporting).

For this reason it would be super useful to be able to easily and quickly switch user context from the client.

    This would require two things:

    1. Having the practical option to switch user. Maybe even including a simplified login process using for example a pin code

    2. Being able to also switch back end user context. For IFS10 we can use Run…

  14. Some customers don't want the option to use barcode scanning (camera) on some input fields and want it on others (to prevent data errors)
We should have an option to enable / disable this.

  15. In Classic, there is the ability to automatically focus input on the first element if it is an input field. This needs to be ported to the Connect applications as well. Use case: in a scan heavy environment (Cycle Counting, Picking, Shop Orders, etc) the extra time it takes to touch the screen every single time adds up and leads to end user frustration and carpel tunnel.

  16. In File Gallery element, it would be great to show (or enable to show) the whole filename value, including the file extension.
For example, in the file gallery I have a couple of files shown, but I want to download only the excel file. Without showing files' extension, I have to download all of them to figure out whihc one is that filetype I'm looking for.

  17. Hi,

I was working with our implementation where I found if I provide a form to user to retype password with masking in a user prompt, there is no option to see what is typed

I mean we need to have a eye option for masking as optional basis.

Same option is there in Novacura generic blue screen.

  18. Currently, when we initiate a list selection we can start it closed or fully extended.
Ideally, we should be able to just show the categories and extend them. Currently they are always fully extended.

If we have a large list of over 20 items, the grouping could help with navigating easier. Like this, we need to close them first to see them as an overview. There are pictures attached to illustrate this.

  19. Possibility to use date selector in Data grid element.
Today only text, number, Lovs, checkboxes is valid for use. But many customers also ask for the possibility to use a Calendar for date fields to be possible to use.

  20. Recent user feedback from field training highlighted critical challenges when using the Novacura Web Forms web client on Windows tablets due to the absence of a dedicated Windows application. These challenges include a lack of Bluetooth integration, a non-streamlined photo attachment process, and navigation difficulties within the UI. Current issues prevent full functionality for mobile users on Windows tablets, prompting us to recommend using only Android or Apple tablets until a solution is in place.
    Details:
    1. Bluetooth Integration:
