  2. It would be helpful to have a ChatGPT Connector and templated process to use this connector. For example, using ChatGPT to create FlowScript based on natural language, personal recommendations based on Portal 2, document summarization in Portal 2. This connector should be set up to allow developers to see an example of how to use it, but be able to embed this connector into their own apps.

  4. In the ever-evolving landscape of app development, speed and adaptability are paramount. Our proposal aims to empower Flow developers with a Generative AI Copilot, capable of swiftly building components of an app and facilitating real-time modifications, all through natural language conversations.

    Key Benefits:

    Rapid App Component Creation:

The Generative AI Copilot enables developers to efficiently construct app components, eliminating the need for time-consuming manual coding.
    End-to-End App Creation:

The Copilot can autonomously generate entire applications from scratch using OpenAI and Generative AI technologies, significantly reducing development timelines.
    Adaptive Modification:

Developers can request real-time adjustments to the app via natural language…

  5. We use at lot of Assertion Steps in our Flow to alert users that something went wrong. On typical example is that we usually compare the the input to a list of items. If it don’t match, the user gets a error.

The problem with Assertion Steps is that the user have to click to remove the popup window. To be more efficient, a temporary popup would sometimes be enough.

We can accomplish this using the Checkpoint-step and write text that covers the whole screen, as seen in the picture.

But it would be nice to make this popup red,…

  6. Currently, when the M3 REST API token times out, there is no automatic mechanism to renew the token or log the user out to acquire a new token. This lack of automatic process can cause interruptions in the user workflow.

We propose adding a feature that would either automatically renew the M3 REST API token when it times out or automatically log the user out to acquire a new token.

  7. We would like to have the feature for reloading sub-tasks within a User Step. The subtask should be updated with data from a Machine Step, provided that the a machine Step is connected to the User Step using a Data Arrow. If so, the User Step will be updated when a sub task in the User Step is done and the User returns back to the User Step. The reload of data can also be triggered manually by swiping down. Works in Android app but not in Web client.

  9. We are looking for feedback on what requirements people have for a Novacura Supplier Portal.

    Examples could be:

    RFQ responses
    Inventory Management
    Purchase Order Management

Once we gather the requirements we can plan the development

  10. When I have a datagrid and I change the column type on a column, please keep the attributes that are the same.

for example, I had a number column with Title = QTY

I had to change it to text, but when I did I lost the Title and all the translations.

If I had previously set a value on a column for Title or Color or any attribute that is the same for the new column type, please keep the previous value.

  12. Introducing Record Key Targeting for User Step Input: Currently, to store user-entered text into a pre-existing record, an additional step is required after the User Step to combine the output into the record. Implementing the ability to directly target a record key for user step input will enable seamless pushing of the value output into the desired record, eliminating the need for an extra step. As an example, it would help stream line development if I could Use a Records Key/Value pair as the variable to output to. So “Foo.Bar” would be the output variable for single item inputs. Then…

  13. The usage of propertied enhances the productivity and maintainability of software development by enabling developers to gain insights into the usage of specific properties in their codebase quickly and efficiently. This should show in which Flows the property is used and be able to quickly navigate to that Flow.

  14. In the current system, editing the label text of a canvas element requires double clicking on the element in the canvas view. This method can be time-consuming, especially when designing intricate flows. Moreover, without immediate renaming during the design phase, elements can end up with generic labels like “Machine Step”, “Machine Step [1]”, etc.

We propose to introduce an option to edit the label text directly when in the edit mode of a canvas element. This enhancement would provide designers the flexibility to rename elements on the fly, ensuring clarity and reducing the likelihood of generic, repetitive labeling.

  15. We frequently execute numerous queries on our M3 IBM DB2 iSeries database, and occasionally, I encounter issues where Flow Studio does not accept the query.

We've been able to adjust queries in the past to make them compatible with Flow Studio, but this time I'm facing difficulties. The problem specifically arises on line 7 of the query.

We make extensive use of "with" statements, so it's puzzling why I'm encountering an issue in this particular instance. It's possible that the problem is related to the brackets I'm using to dynamically insert parameters into the query, but despite the error, everything…

  16. We would like to see tabs in the Webclient with startad flows. It's a modern efficient way of switching between ongoing work or to get information.

On example is that we want got an item search and we want to keep that open and accessible regardless of what other flows we have started.

    Thanks!

  17. Similar to how many other node based software allow you to hold a hotkey and draw through arrows with your cursor to "cut" the arrows, this could be very useful in Flow.

  18. Managing the installation and setup of the Novacura mobile app involves utilizing application configurations. In this process, offshore crews receive devices upon boarding, and configurations are implemented to ensure a seamless transition when transferring devices to the next crew during off-hitch periods. This approach facilitates efficient deployment and setup, allowing for a smooth handover of devices and continuity of Novacura mobile app functionality across different crews.

  19. After appending a new row to a datagrid, the new row insertion occurrs at the concluding section of the DataGrid, even though my current view is confined to page 1. This outcome holds the potential to bewilder users, as it contrasts with the anticipated experience. When a user undertakes the action of appending a new row to a DataGrid, it is a logical expectation that the newly added row should be prominently visible upon transitioning to the creation interface. To align with this user-centric principle, it is recommended that a design modification be implemented to guide users to the end…

  20. We have recently incresed the use of the Webclient on stationary desktops and the users are missing some features.

The UI works fine with autoselet-lists and grids, but it still requires the users to use the mouse a lot.

We would like to see the possibillity to add keyboard shortcuts to elements and buttons.

We got a user step with seven buttons and it would be great if we could connect F-keys to these button for a better user experience.

    Thanks
