  1. Now we can set Alternate row coloring only for single portlet. It should be possible to set it for all portlets globally.

    Now we can set it for single portlets in menu Edit / Style / Row.
    It should be added to global settings in Style / Branding / Theme

  2. Currently, Novacura's Portal 2 application allows users to organize table data using a single "group by" option. The feature request is to enhance this functionality by allowing users to apply multiple "group by" fields simultaneously, providing greater flexibility and enabling more complex data organization and analysis.

  3. When running Machine Flows in the portal via buttons or events and you throw an error via an assertion step for instance, you will get an generic pre and suffix to the message you enter. This causes confusion for the user, it would be great if you had control of how the exceptions were presented, like a banner or popup.

  4. Portal 2 currently lacks the option to disable the sortable functionality in table portlets, a feature that was available in Portal 1. This feature is crucial, especially for touch device users, as the default sortable setting can lead to accidental data reorganization or confusion when interacting with the interface.

    Proposed solution is to reintroduce the "Sortable" option in the table portlet settings within Portal 2. This feature should allow administrators to toggle sorting capabilities on and off according to the specific needs of their interface design or user experience requirements.

  5. Currently, you CAN export a portal 2 page and then it imports with lists of values included (as for filter drop downs that we've tested). I'd propose that when exporting Portal pages that have LOVs, on import, it will bring any updated items on the LOVs as well.

    We've tested that if a LOV exists in an environment where you're importing the portal page to, it will use the current existing LOV with the same name, but it will not bring any updates to the query. This is an extra step for the portal admin to need to manually modify…

  9. Hi,

    Thanks for this forum to share ideas.

    We have an existing client engagement where client wants to explore below options.

    show the tabs ,buttons in a portlet to be aligned right to left
    all text to be shown and to be entered from right to left

    This requirment is very common in teh middle east region clients and as we don't have any existing feature to in-corporate teh same, can we check teh pheasibility and develop something similar.

  10. When I have multiple pins in the map portlet, it would be great to select a group of them or being able to connect two pins. These two pins could then be the input for a machine flow that calculates the time of travel via rest call.
    This would help to use the portal for planning.

  11. Some charting libraries or tools may have limited options for customizing colors in pie charts. They might provide predefined color palettes or automatically generate colors based on data points, making it difficult to customize individual colors. As a Portal 2 Developer, we would like to be able to utilize charts and customize the content and colors in those charts.

  12. The starting day of the week in a datepicker in Portal 2 should be influenced by the locale settings. For instance, if en-US, the week start should be Sunday. If sv-SE local is set on the Flow User, then Monday should be the start date.

  13. We would like to have bigger scroll bars for all portlets in portal 2. Users use big screens zoomed out and have a hard time clicking on the scroll bars since they are so thin. A suggestion is to make the size of the scroll bars a user setting.

  15. We would like to have the option of adding shapes in portal 2 to have a more visual view between dashboards. This would help users to have a more customized and artistic experience.

Currently, in the Portal 2 table, changes made to data source records are indicated as updated (with a green color and pencil icon), but these changes are not actually saved until the 'Update' button is clicked. This setup risks data loss if the user performs an action that refreshes the table without first hitting 'Update', and currently, there is no warning to the user that their changes will be discarded.

  17. We would wish that all calendars start with the same week day. For example in the filter portlet the weeks start on a sunday and in the gantt portlet on a monday.This uniform approach would ensure that everyone is on the same page regarding the start of the week.

  19. Portal2 Gantt sorting by click on one of the columns presented. Example: Standard sorting is to sort by work task number. One of the columns shown is equipment object id or department and the user wants to sort by Equipent object by click on that column. (or date, or department, or priority etc)
