1. Content Adjustment When Locking Side Menu in Portal 2

   In the current configuration of Portal 2, locking the side menu causes it to overlay the main content area, leading to obscured or covered content. This can impair user interaction and accessibility, particularly when navigating or viewing crucial interface elements.

   Proposed solution is to modify the behavior of the Portal 2 interface so that when the side menu is locked, the main content area automatically adjusts to the right. This adjustment should ensure that no content is obscured by the locked menu. Implementing responsive design principles will allow the content to fluidly reposition and resize, maintaining usability and visibility regardless of the side menu's state. This enhancement will improve the overall user experience by ensuring that all content remains accessible and clearly visible at all times.

2. Gaps between next fields in form window in Portal 2 are too big - missing option to reduce gaps

   Should be possible to reduce gaps (to set distance between next fields) between next fields in user step in flow triggered from ie. portal 2 or web client

   The pop-up shows the old web client being executed from the portal. The UI is better in the new client so I would suggest changing to using that one.

3. Enhanced Conditional Formatting for Text in Data Tree Portlet

   We propose the implementation of advanced conditional formatting options for text within the Data Tree Portlet in Portal 2. Specifically, the ability to customize text appearance (color, style, etc.) based on conditions, such as distinguishing between unassigned and assigned work. This enhancement would significantly improve visual clarity and streamline data interpretation within the Portlet.

4. Custom Width Configuration for Table Columns in Portal 2

   In the current version of Portal 2, users are limited to automatic width settings for table columns, lacking the flexibility that was available in Portal 1 where custom width values could be set during the configuration step. This limitation affects the usability and visual layout of tables, especially when dealing with varying content sizes that require more precise column adjustments.

   Proposed solution is to reintroduce the capability to set custom widths for table columns in Portal 2, similar to the functionality previously available in Portal 1. This feature should allow users to specify exact width values for each column during the table configuration process, providing greater control over the presentation and organization of data within the tables. Implementing this feature will enhance the user's ability to tailor table layouts to meet specific needs, improving both the functionality and aesthetic of data presentation in Portal 2.

   Functionality already exist;  Data source columns - Copy from portlet. 

5. Option to Read multiple documents in portal via Document viewer

   We would like to have new feature add to document viewer in order to view multiple pdf(s) in portal. Currently, when one clicks the table row (with a listener attached), they need to view particular line related Documents.

6. Define width of columns in Table portlet

   I'd like to request return of Portal1 functionality: possibility to define column width (see attached screenshot). Lack of it makes designing challenging and less predictable.

   Currently, when utilizing the Download functionality within the document viewer, the downloaded PDF file is named "undefined.pdf." This naming convention lacks user-friendliness and can lead to confusion among our users.

   We kindly request the implementation of a customizable filename option for the downloaded PDFs. This feature would allow us to set a more descriptive and meaningful filename, relevant to the content or context of the document being viewed. For example, users could have the ability to name the file based on the document title, date, or any other relevant data.

   The ability to customize the filename would significantly improve the user experience and streamline their workflow, as they would be able to identify and organize downloaded documents more easily.

   The "undefined.pdf" bug fix was compeleted in 2022. Please look to upgrade if you have not already.

8. Save Default Setting For Freeze Columns In Data Grids

   The new ability for users to freeze columns in data grids is very helpful. As a UX designer, it would be very helpful to save the current freeze column settings of a table portlet as the default user settings for the portlet, in the same way we are currently able to save column order and column widths by clicking the "copy from portlet" button in the Data Source Columns section of the portal editor. This would save us the trouble of having to teach every user how to use the freeze column feature and have them set that setting on every page for every table portlet where it makes sense to have the first columns frozen. Also if they unfreeze columns, being able to click the "clear user settings" button to easily return the portlet to the default frozen pane settings would be very beneficial.

   Currently, when working with dates in Portal 2, the default format is often in a numerical representation (e.g., "03/28/2023" for March 28, 2023). While this format is functional, I would like to propose the implementation of an alternative date format to improve readability and user experience. Specifically, I am suggesting the adoption of the "DD-MMM-YY" format, where dates are presented in a more user-friendly manner, like "28-Mar-23" for the same example date.

   However, I understand the importance of sorting data chronologically, and simply changing the date format could lead to sorting issues, considering the alphanumeric nature of the proposed format. To address this concern, my feature request includes a crucial addition to the proposed date format: maintaining the column's ability to be sortable in ascending order based on the underlying date code.

11. Extend Language Support in Portal 2 (Spanish)

    Currently, Portal 2's assets only include support for English, Swedish, and Norwegian languages. This limitation impacts the usability of the Syncfusion components within the system for Portuguese and Spanish speaking users.

    We propose the inclusion of Portuguese and Spanish languages into Portal 2's assets. By expanding the supported languages, we can enhance the user experience for a broader audience and meet the needs of more diverse customer bases.
