Advanced NFC Scanning in Flow App

The existing NFC scanning functionality in the Flow app is limited in terms of advanced capabilities. Users are looking for a more intricate and enhanced scanning solution, paired with a user-friendly and visually appealing admin user interface.

Proposed solution is an enhanced NFC Scanning where we implement more advanced NFC scanning capabilities. This may include better error handling, faster recognition, and support for a wider range of NFC tags. Allow users to scan multiple NFC tags consecutively without needing to return to the starting interface after each scan. This will significantly improve efficiency for tasks requiring bulk scanning. The admin UI should be modernized and made more intuitive. A better overview of scanned items, clearer feedback on successful/failed scans, and an improved layout can enhance the user experience. Integrate functionalities like logging scan history, integration with other Flow modules, and real-time synchronization

    I would like to propose a new feature for Novacura Flow: the capability to read NFC tags directly within the platform. This functionality would allow information embedded in an NFC tag to be retrieved and utilized in an event step, streamlining workflow and enhancing user experience. Currently, our only option that I know of is to resort to NFC keyboards, which would be cumbersome and disrupts the workflow. With direct NFC integration in Novacura Flow, users could effortlessly tap an NFC tag against their device, significantly improving the overall user experience.

    Our specific use case involves Electronic Shelf Labels (ESL) in retail environments, where NFC is used to read the ID of each label. Currently, we are unable to use Novacura Flow to develop an application to manage our ESLs due to the lack of NFC support. This has forced us to rely on another platform for this purpose, which is less efficient and cohesive for our operations.

    I believe that incorporating NFC functionality would be a logical and beneficial advancement for Novacura Flow. It would address current user needs, such as ours in the retail sector with ESLs, and expand the platform's applicability.
