1. Freeze Columns in Data Grids

   In the current design, when users scroll horizontally in data grids with many columns, the row selection checkbox moves with the scroll. This can make it difficult for users to select the correct line, especially when dealing with extensive data.

   We propose a feature to lock the row selection checkbox's position on the left side of the data grid. With this feature, even when a user scrolls horizontally through the grid, the checkbox remains in a fixed position, making it easier for users to handle selections.

2. Enhancing the Visibility of Offline Flows in a Menu

   In the current webclient, an offline flow that has been added to a menu is visible in the webclient even if it cannot be run from there.

   Could we either make a change so that offline flows are not visible in the webclient, or make the error message that occurs when someone tries to run it more understandable?

   We would like to have the option of adding shapes in portal 2 to have a more visual view between dashboards. This would help users to have a more customized and artistic experience.

4. Add scale function for ODATA document management

   New scale function was developed for media items. But most customers use document management also for images. This idea is to also make it possible to scale documents stored in document management. It could be configured to be up to the developer what kind of documents is scaled, but of course also if making a general functions so that if a word document is sent in to the function, then the document should not be scaled.

5. Seamless OData Projection for Workflow Subscriptions Across Environments

   We would like if a warning message can be implemented when you add a new projection in DEV/TEST environment and then subscribe to PROD, that has not the new/added projection. Which is to get a warning with info about it, or that the projection is added automatically when it happens. Or such a solution so that End user will not get affected.

6. Load Inboxes after login

   When you have Seed inboxes, it may take a while to complete the login as inboxes are evaluated as part of the login. It is better to handle inbox evaluation as a separate activity soon after the login but with a dynamic count showing the inbox evaluation( eg app icon with an animated batch count). So the user will know if the count is fully loaded or not, but the advantage is. the page gets loaded fast without having to wait for the inboxes to load. If the user is going to use some other app he can straightaway move to that app without having to wait for the inbox to complete.

8. Preview/View file attachments without downloading

   Currently in the flow any file (image/ documents) need to be downloaded in to the device before we can view them. Flow does enable displaying images in the user step, but they need to be be deployed into ftp or other hosting location.

   We commonly gets asked from the customers for the possibility of preview/view this documents within the app without needing to downloading to the device.

   Downloading the files to devices will cause files been left in download folders reducing the disc space as well as making too many copies of the sensitive information.

   Some customers has gone to the extent of connecting addon features to perform this functionality on their own services outside flow.

9. Enable "Workflow Fragment" as Seed Item with Data Arrow in Flow Studio

   We kindly request the implementation of a new feature within Flow Studio, allowing the integration of "Workflow Fragment" as a Seed Item while utilizing a data arrow to the start step. Currently, any attempt to include a Workflow Fragment as a Seed Item leads to undesired outcomes. Specifically, when users press the "Run" button, the flow crashes, or upon selecting the "Publish" button, an error message surfaces: "Missing mapping for NovaCura.Flow.Designer.CanvasItems (..). Possible usage of unconverted elements from previous Flow versions."

11. Auto-Save or Unsaved Changes Alert in Portal 2 Table

    Currently, in the Portal 2 table, changes made to data source records are indicated as updated (with a green color and pencil icon), but these changes are not actually saved until the 'Update' button is clicked. This setup risks data loss if the user performs an action that refreshes the table without first hitting 'Update', and currently, there is no warning to the user that their changes will be discarded.

    Proposed solution is to either Implement an auto-save functionality that automatically saves changes made to the table immediately after a value is altered. This will ensure that all changes are preserved without requiring users to manually click the 'Update' button. Alternatively, or additionally, provide a clear warning/notification to users when they attempt to navigate away from the page or perform any action that would result in losing unsaved changes. This alert would prompt users to save their changes before proceeding.

    Either solution will significantly enhance data security and user experience by preventing accidental data loss.

13. Calendar weeks with uniform week start day

    We would wish that all calendars start with the same week day. For example in the filter portlet the weeks start on a sunday and in the gantt portlet on a monday.This uniform approach would ensure that everyone is on the same page regarding the start of the week.

14. Implement Timeout Parameter Support in Novacura's IFS10 Connector

    The IFS .NET Access Provider is expected to support a timeout parameter, allowing users to configure how long a task should wait before timing out. However, this functionality is not currently implemented in Novacura's IFS10 connector. As a result, all long-running tasks time out after one minute, with no available option to extend this limit.

    This limitation hampers the execution of tasks that take more than one minute to complete, making it impossible to include them in flows. This leads to inflexibility in designing complex workflows and might impede the completion of important business processes.

15. In-Flow Image Viewing Capabilities

    Flow currently requires users to download files in order to view them, a process that some customers find inconvenient. There is a clear preference for viewing image files within the flow itself without the need for downloading.

    Therefore, we propose an enhancement to enable viewing of common image file types (e.g., JPEG, PNG) directly within the Flow interface. This feature will enhance the user experience, allowing quick and convenient access to image content and reducing the steps required for users to interact with image files.

This functionality will provide greater control over user forms and user steps, enabling users to display specific fields and buttons selectively based on the data context, which is particularly useful for mobile optimization and conditional button enabling scenarios.

    Sample Use Cases:

    Mobile Optimization: When designing a user form with numerous fields, buttons, and DataGrid data, the feature would enable the designer to show only certain fields on mobile devices to optimize the user experience.

    Conditional Button Enabling: Users may have specific requirements where buttons should be enabled or disabled based on the presence of certain values within the DataGrid. With this feature, designers can achieve this functionality, similar to how it is already possible with text input fields.

17. Additional Options for Right-Clicking User Steps - "North" and "South"

    Currently, when right-clicking a user step in the application, users have the helpful option "Select Everything East of Item" available in the context menu. However, we propose the inclusion of additional options, specifically "Select Everything North of Item" and "Select Everything South of Item," to further enhance the usability and flexibility of the user interface.

19. Add function selection to filter settings in Portal2

    We would like to enhance user experience by introducing a new feature: 'Function Selection' in the Portal2 filter settings, allowing users to customize and tailor their preferences more effectively. We need to be able to select the function we want to use with-in the filters settings (see file attached). Specifically the "Contains" function. Although we should be able to use the filter functions as a whole.

    We would like “Order of attributes“ is an example where attributes have no order to be ordered alphabetically. In Read operation keys (indicated bold already at the moment) could be first in the list and the remainder of the list should be ordered alphabetically.
